Grantham Community Parklands – Redevelopment
After the devastation of the January 2011 floods, Grantham was a community in need. Rock Trade Industries partnered with the Lockyer Valley Regional Council and provided materials and expertise to the redevelopment and installation of the Grantham Community Parklands.

Subdivision Phases 1 & 2 Woodland Rise
Woodlands Rise is the Lockyer Valley’s largest master-planned community with 4000 residential blocks just minutes from Gatton. For this project, Rock Trade Industries supplied construction materials for road base and drainage systems.

Super Floor – Bunnings Warehouse Toowoomba
Super floors are highly specialised concrete floors that are a part of the Bunnings brand. Rock Trade Industries was awarded the contract to supply the sand for the Bunnings Toowoomba super floor. The sand supplied contained no silts or organics, which means the finished product has a higher durability and strength and eliminates surface cracking.

Nexus Delivery – Toowoomba second range crossing
Rock Trade Industries was awarded supply contracts for Australia’s largest infrastructure project. This 41km-long bypass route will run from the Warrego Highway at Helidon Spa in the east to the Gore Highway at Athol in the west, via Charlton. The project is valued at a total cost of $1.6 billion.

$20 million Backpackers Resort – Gatton
Rock Trade Industries supplied materials for construction of a $20 million backpacker and farm worker accommodation complex in Grantham. The Philps Road project, features a 75-acre complex designed to cater for more than 600 workers on completion.

Collaboration with Joy Global – Testing a new cutting head
In 2017, Rock Trade Industries partnered with Joy Global to test the design and functionality of a new cutting machine. This machine is set to revolutionise the extraction and cutting industry. The new machine is not only compact and therefore more efficient and economical, it can be used in many different situations. The speed of the cutters improves accuracy of cutting and minimises the damage caused to surrounding areas.
